Function Documentation

◆ versionmm()

function versionmm ( in  current)

Return a scalar MATLAB string containing the last version before the specified input ParaMonte MATLAB library version number.

The ParaMonte version number follows the semantic versioning style: major.minor.patch.
The current (or the input version) is decremented by its patch version.
If the patch version is zero, it is decremented by its minor version.
If the patch version is zero, it is decremented by its major version.

Note
The function name stands for version--.
Parameters
[in]current: The input scalar MATLAB string containing the current Semantic version of the library in triplet format (e.g., "1.2.3").
The current ParaMonte library version, if needed, can be obtained from pm.lib.version.
Returns
previous : The output scalar MATLAB string containing the decremented ParaMonte library version as described above.
The output version may not necessarily exist as an actual ParaMonte library version.

Possible calling interfaces

previous = pm.lib.versionmm(current)

Example usage

1cd(fileparts(mfilename('fullpath'))); % Change working directory to source code directory.
2addpath('../../../'); % Add the ParaMonte library root directory to the search path.
3
4pm.matlab.show()
5pm.matlab.show('pm.lib.versionmm("1.1.1")')
6pm.matlab.show( pm.lib.versionmm("1.1.1") )
7assert(pm.lib.versionmm("1.1.1") == "1.1.0")
8
9pm.matlab.show()
10pm.matlab.show('pm.lib.versionmm("1.1.0")')
11pm.matlab.show( pm.lib.versionmm("1.1.0") )
12assert(pm.lib.versionmm("1.1.0") == "1.0.0")
function lib()
Return a scalar MATLAB string containing the path to the lib directory of the ParaMonte library packa...
function root()
Return a scalar MATLAB string containing the root directory of the ParaMonte library package.
function show(in obj, in name, in hidden)
Display the components of an input MATLAB variable on MATLAB Console recursively.
function versionmm(in current)
Return a scalar MATLAB string containing the last version before the specified input ParaMonte MATLAB...

Example output
1
2pm.lib.versionmm("1.1.1")
31.1.0
4
5pm.lib.versionmm("1.1.0")
61.0.0
