Function Documentation

◆ cold()

function cold ( in  nell)

Return a black-blue-cyan-white colormap matrix of shape (nell, 3) containing a cold colormap.

Parameters
[in]nell: The input scalar MATLAB integer representing the number of elements (rows) of the output colormap matrix.
(optional, default = size(get(gcf, 'colormap'), 1))
Returns
cmap : The output black-blue-cyan-white colormap matrix of shape [nell, 3] containing a cold colormap.

Possible calling interfaces

cmap = pm.vis.cmap.cold()
cmap = pm.vis.cmap.cold([])
cmap = pm.vis.cmap.cold(nell)

Example usage

1cd(fileparts(mfilename('fullpath'))); % Change working directory to source code directory.
2addpath('../../../../'); % Add the ParaMonte library root directory to the search path.
3
4figure("color", "white");
5imagesc(peaks(500));
6colormap(pm.vis.cmap.cold(256));
7colorbar;
8pm.vis.figure.savefig("cold.1.png", "-m3");
9
10figure("color", "white");
11load topo
12imagesc(0:360, -90:90, topo); axis("xy");
13colormap(pm.vis.cmap.cold());
14colorbar;
15pm.vis.figure.savefig("cold.2.png", "-m3");
function root()
Return a scalar MATLAB string containing the root directory of the ParaMonte library package.
