Detailed Description

Generate and return a vector of single-characters each element of which corresponds to one character in the input scalar string.

Parameters
[in]str: The input scalar character of arbitrary len type parameter of kind any supported by the processor (e.g., SK, SKA, SKD , or SKU).
Returns
charVec : The output vector of the same type and kind as the input str of len type-parameter 1, composed of single characters corresponding to each character in the input scalar str.

Possible calling interfaces

use pm_str, only: getCharVec
character(1, kind(str)) :: charVec(len(str))
charVec(1:len(str)) = getCharVec(str)
